“We are so thankful to Mark and everyone at K9 & Co. for their work with our dog. Although sweet, our dog was a highly reactive, resource guarding dog. We got him during COVID and he was in need of socialization with other people and other dogs. He came home from boot camp as a changed dog - listens to corrections, less stressed/reactive, and enjoyable to take on walks. He loves going back to K9 & Co. for boarding and loves the staff. “My dog, Boone, recently went through the bootcamp at K9 & Co. Retreat, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Mark, the owner and trainer, is more than just a dog trainer—he’s a true dog behaviorist. He doesn’t just teach skills and commands, he addresses the root causes of behaviors, which makes all the difference.
Boone went in with behaviors that were worrisome and disruptive to daily life. Honestly, I was starting to lose hope. But Mark and his amazing team brought that hope back. They kept me updated with pictures and videos of Boone’s progress, and I could see him growing into the best version of himself.
What I love most about K9 & Co is that it feels like family. Boone has been going to daycare and boarding there for over 4 years, and he’s always excited to go. From the very beginning, he learned to socialize with other people and dogs, and that foundation has carried through every part of his training and life.

“I am struggling to know what to say. I brought my GSD to Mark for behavioral issues and by the end of the evaluation, I felt like I had a completely different dog. I even took him to PetSmart afterwards which is something I would have NEVER done before because of my dog’s reactivity but he was amazing. How we were told to walk him, speak to him, everything worked. He stayed right beside us, didn’t make a noise and even waited in line more patient than I’ve ever seen. Mark was brutally honest and very straightforward but that’s something I needed. What I was doing obviously wasn’t working and I needed help. He broke it down for me, explained everything that wasn’t working and everything that would. Mark gave me hope and I am forever thankful for him..”

“We always noticed K9 & Company during our neighborhood travels and thought that it had the Right Curb Appeal. Then Little Charlie came into Our Lives and it was no question. K9 & Company came Highly recommended from our previous neighbors (now in Florida) and we performed our due diligence.
Charlie was brought in for an assessment, and was given the chance to socialize with other people and dogs. Charlie fell In Love with K9 & Company. Upon meeting Mark for the first time We greeted each other with a hug. There was something familiar about Mark even though we had never met before. Charlie completed on 11/17/2024 Bootcamp Training and his Psychological and Obedience is incredible. I am truly impressed with the Professionalism and Dedication Commitments not only to Charlie the client but the Parents throughout the process with emails photos and videos to keep the family well informed of the training progress.

“They are amazing! We never were able to have both of our dogs in the same room at the same time. They now are laying beside each other, walking around together and we even ate dinner without any problems. Skye was timid and anxious when we sent her Mark. She came back home after Doggy Bootcamp a whole new dog. He even took time to show the family how we should proceed with working with them. I would recommend Mark and his team to anyone and everyone!!!!! We will be enrolling our dogs Skye and Omega into Doggy Daycare going forward. “My boy spent almost a week boarding with K9 & Co and I have nothing but great things to say. He was very well taken care of, had a lot of attention from the staff and play time with other dogs. Normally when we pick our boy up from boarding he is so sad and has lost weight from not eating. This time he was so happy and didn't lose any weight while he was there. I recommend K9 & Co to everyone looking for a place to take care of their fur baby.”

“Absolutely Amazing Staff. I rescued a Lab puppy back in May for my Mother and she comes to see Mark a couple times a week. She has made such a huge improvement as she was not trained properly as a young pup. The atmosphere is Great. I highly recommend them if your looking for daycare, training or boarding”
